Kijabe and Back and Then to Mali

After venturing to Kijabe, Kenya, East Africa with my husband in 2006, I embarked on an even greater adventure in 2007. I took two mission trips to a remote village in Mali, West Africa in both July and September with some women from church. Here's a bit of my story.

Welcome Home

The travelling part of our journey has come to an end. The sharing and personal growth will continue for a long time!

We are home, and it is good to be here. Our trip from Nairobi to Brussels via Entebbe and then to Chicago and finally Northwest Arkansas went without a hitch. All the flights were on time. We slept well on the flight from Entebbe to Brussels. The Brussels-Chicago leg was kinda long, but we faired okay.

At XNA we were greeted by my faithful sister, Jenni, along with our pastor and 8 members from our home church here at Grace Point Church. It was SOOO good to see all of them, and we look forward to many times of sharing our adventures and travels.

However, the first order of business is sleep! I told myself I couldn't go to bed until 8:00 tonight. It's 7:50 right now, so guess where I'm headed. Asante sana to all of you for your faithful prayers and love and encouragement.
