Chocolate Chip Cookies
Susan, Nancy and Gladys didn't know what chocolate chips were when they came up to the apartment to make cookies last week. But after one taste, they were addicts!
We had great fun making cookies together and getting acquainted. They kept saying, "It is very sweet!"
I purposely had sufficient ingredients to make a double batch of dough so they could take plenty of cookies back to their dorm with them, and also have enough to share with the guys in class the next day. And the next day in class, each of the girls somewhat sheepishly told me that all the cookies were gone!
When they leave Moffat and go back to their tribes, it is likely they will never make cookies again, as most of them do not have ovens at home, and there are no chocolate chips in Kenya. I felt blessed that I could give them this opportunity, and as they left for their dorm, they couldn't thank me enough for letting them come to where we live and make cookies with them.

Wonderful Story!
Does New Life have an openings for an NICU nurse? What a great ministry! I would love to volunteer there. Glad you could have the experience.
